Businesses, Let SC Works Help You Put More Money in Your Pockets

If you take advantage of the On-the-Job Training (OJT) program, your business can get reimbursed for the costs associated with training new employees.

    The program is simple:

    • You create a customized training plan for eligible employees.
    • After employees begin their training period, you can receive anywhere from 50 to 90 percent of their wages. All you have to do is negotiate a payment schedule with an OJT staff member at any one of the SC Works locations.
    • Reimbursement depends on the size of your business, the skills required for the job and the duration of the training period.

OJT is a win-win scenario, for both employers and job seekers.

Contact an SC Works business representative to find out how OJT can help you save money.
