Statewide Business Representatives

Click your county on the map below to connect with members of your local employment team. Many of theses individuals are veterans or service members themselves who help connect military jobseekers with employers looking to hire. They can also refer you to other local service providers for information on disabled resources, educational benefits, VA services and more.

S.C. National Guard Employment Advisors
provide individual case management services to help unemployed service members, family members and veterans find meaningful civilian careers. For employers and hiring managers, they can also provide direct referrals of quality, pre-screened applicants as well as information on tax credits and other military hiring incentives.

Disabled Veterans Outreach Program
(DVOP) representatives provide intensive case management services to targeted veterans with emphasis in meeting the employment needs of veterans who are economically or educationally disadvantaged.

Local Veterans’ Employment Representatives
(LVER) conduct employer outreach to help veterans gain employment and provide individualized job development services to veterans. They market job-seeking veterans as individuals who have highly valuable skills and experience and serve as advocates for veterans with businesses, industries and other community-based organizations.

Representatives from other partner agencies are also available to assist in areas of educational and VA benefits, on-the-job training programs, apprenticeships and more. To see some of the other available resources click here.
