Be on the Lookout for Your 1099-G!

Did you receive unemployment benefit payments in 2025? Did you know that unemployment benefits are taxable income? This means benefit payments must be reported on your federal tax return when filing taxes with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Your 1099-G form will be sent to your mailing address on record the last week of January 2026. You can also download your 1099-G income statement from the MyBenefits Portal after January 20, 2026.
