Do you have experience working and building relationships with community-based organizations, rural communities, and/or state organizations?
Our Agribusiness Coordinator serves within the Employment Services (ES) division. ES programs improve the functioning of the labor market by bringing together individuals who are seeking employment and employers who are seeking workers. The SC Works system provides jobseekers with career guidance, job referrals, assessments, and résumé assistance. Free tools to assist employers include posting job openings, recruiting and screening candidates, and reviewing job market trends. South Carolina’s 12 local workforce development boards administer the SC Works Centers throughout the state.
The Agribusiness Coordinator will serve as the coordinator for the ES Complaint System and manage a team of Agricultural Outreach Consultants (AOC). These staff are the bridge between the Migrant Seasonal Farm Workers (MSFW) and the SC Works Centers and must be in communication with local staff to be informed of local area activities.
