“Being an elementary school teacher is the way to go! These kids are really amazing, and at this age,
they are proud of learning new things and excelling. I really feel like I am making a positive difference in
their lives. I am not only teaching the basics that you think about when you think about teaching, like math, reading, and science, but I’m also teaching them how to use computers, our school has a garden, we are doing a fitness Olympics this year, and we are also learning some basic economics.A couple of my kids from when I started are now in high school and have told me that they’re thinking about going into teaching. I really hope I had a part in that. It would be great to think I inspired someone like that.”
