The S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce is actively fighting unemployment insurance fraud and working to protect claimants and employers from criminal activity. To defend our agency and our customers from this national crisis, we have implemented several security measures throughout the pandemic and continue to add anti-fraud measures to our practices. However, our best defense against bad actors is working with our claimants to identify fraudulent attempts.
