"I like being an industrial machinery mechanic. I like fixing things, and I'm really good with machines, engines, and parts. We typically do a lot of preventative maintenance, but we're also the team that fixes the machines when they are down. That is the most important part of our job. Every minute that equipment is down is time that our guys can't work.
While you do have to get training and certification, you don’t have to go to college for this job. Our group has really great teamwork. It is a solid, steady job, and I like what I do."
