"While I have a full-time day job as an environmental scientist, I heard my local technical college needed adjunct instructors to teach anatomy and physiology classes. I applied and was hired since I have a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. Now, I have the pleasure of teaching the next generation the scientific method, anatomy and physiology concepts, dissection techniques, and basic metabolic processes.
I'm on campus one evening each week, and I prepare for classes, grade tests, and communicate with students online when I find time during other evenings and on weekends. In addition to the core curriculum, I share valuable lessons with students about career options that are possible with a background in science. Check your local college job listings to see if they need your knowledge and experience, and earn a little extra income in the process!"
