"I chose this job because I have always loved working with kids. When children visit for checkups, they are typically full of energy. Their upbeat spirits boosts my energy and keeps me motivated. Even when kids come in feeling unwell, I can still brighten their day and somehow lure a smile from them, and that’s what I cherish! Being a change agent in someone's health journey is crucial, and taking health seriously from a young age lays the perfect foundation for a positive health path.
Initially, when babies are assigned to me as patients, their parents are my clients. But as they mature, I can engage with the child, learn about their school accomplishments, understand their likes and dislikes, and create an environment of support and help — which is always my goal."
