“I grew up with a love for animation and comic books that sparked an everlasting passion for art! There were so many paths I could choose from—illustrator, storyboard artist, animator, graphic novelist, and more! It was hard to pinpoint exactly what I wanted to do once I entered college. However, as I worked through my preliminary art classes, I realized that I wanted more from my art—to blend aesthetics with function. I wanted my art to inform and communicate with the public in ways that would serve them every day. I was able to find a job in the governmental sphere that checked all of these boxes and more! Now, my work engages our community by educating them on the many resources, programs, events, and more available to them! Every artist strives to make an impact and a difference, and now, I get to achieve that goal with everything I do!”
