"I’ve had a love of airplanes since I was a little girl. Whenever I had a chance to fly, I’d try to spot all the
different types of planes around the airport and report them back to my dad, who was also knowledgeable
about aircraft. Growing up, I didn’t know I’d have an opportunity to work in the aerospace industry in
South Carolina, but it really has been a growing field over the past couple of decades. Now I get to be part
of a team planning for planes of the future. My 10-year-old self would be so excited that I get to go to work
around planes every day."
