"While solar energy is growing in South Carolina, so are the leadership roles within the industry – and that’s how I ended up in my position. I started as a technician, ready to put in the work and be a part of an industry that could provide me longevity in my career. I was installing panels, which required working with electrical systems, knowledge of mounting and wiring, and understanding codes and regulations.
Six years of hands-on experience, learning from mentors, and a willingness to help my community save money put me in the position I'm in today. Now I lead a team. I guide the crew to create solar solutions, make sure we're staying on time and on budget, and remind them that our work keeps money in people's pockets and gets us closer to becoming a clean energy state."
