"My first job was helping out at construction sites to earn money during summers in high school. I loved being outside and seeing the progress of my work every day. After I graduated, I realized I could apply what I had learned to building inspections. I went through a training program with my local technical college while working for my employer. I always have the option to update my training through the tech college or even go to college to get a degree in engineering, but right now, it’s great not having to be at a desk all day, and I’m still learning something new with every inspection."
